Handwritten cards for financial planners Your clients mention it once. Inkwell helps you write back.

Connect Inkwell to your AI assistant, starting with Claude. It reads the meeting notes already in your CRM, spots the moments worth a card, and drafts a note in your voice. You approve it. A real pen writes it on a card with your firm's logo, and it goes out in the mail.

Works with Claude today. No assistant? Inkwell can read Wealthbox or HubSpot directly.

How it works

From a note in your CRM to a handwritten card in their mailbox.

  1. Step 1A note lands in your CRMNotes from Jump, Zocks or your own typing, in the CRM you already use.
  2. Step 2Your AI assistant spots the momentAsk it, or let it check each morning. A wedding, a new grandchild, a retirement, a move or a loss.
  3. Step 3It drafts the cardIn your voice, following Inkwell's writing guidelines, sized to fit the card.
  4. Step 4You approve itEdit the words, check the address and price. Nothing sends without you.
  5. Step 5A pen writes and mails itOn a card with your firm's logo, and tracked until it's mailed.

Setup takes about ten minutes. Add your return address, handwriting style and logo, then connect Inkwell to your AI assistant. No assistant? Connect Wealthbox or HubSpot instead.

Your review queue

One screen to review, edit and approve.

Each suggestion shows the line from the note it came from, the drafted card, the mailing address and the price. Approve it, edit it, snooze it or dismiss it.

What Inkwell listens for

The moments clients mention in passing.

  • Celebration

Weddings, new babies and grandchildren, graduations, engagements.

    Congratulations on little Theo's arrival!

  • Milestone

Retirement, a new job, selling a business, paying off the house.

Thirty-one years of teaching. Enjoy every minute, Linda.

  • Life change

A move, a new home, the last child heading off to college.

I hope the new house in Annapolis already feels like home.

  • Sympathy

    Sensitive

A death in the family, an illness, a divorce. Never pre-selected, and written to leave money out.

I've been thinking of you and your family this week.

  • Gratitude

A referral, a long relationship, a kind word after a review.

Thank you for introducing me to the Parkers. It means a lot.

Built for compliance review

Every card is approved, archived and written to stay off financial topics.

  • Nothing sends without you

Each card needs an advisor's approval, in Inkwell or by asking your assistant to send one specific card. Inkwell records who approved it, when, and from where. There is no auto-send and no approve-all button.

  • Every card is archived

The final text, the original draft, recipient, approver and timestamps are kept for every card sent. Download a PDF copy of any card, or the full record as a CSV for your firm's archive.

  • No financial content

Drafts are written to leave out performance, products, rates and account details. The review queue flags any dollar or percent figures before you approve. Sympathy cards leave out money and planning.

  • Inkwell sees only the card

Your assistant reads your CRM under your firm's own agreement with its AI provider. Inkwell receives only the card: the client's name and mailing address, the moment and the draft. If Inkwell reads your CRM directly, addresses, phone numbers, account numbers and dollar amounts are removed before its AI reads a note.

Your compliance team can ask us for a data-handling summary.

CRM integrations

Works with the CRM you already use.

Your AI assistant reads your CRM through its own connectors. Firms without an assistant can connect Wealthbox or HubSpot to Inkwell directly.
